I utilize a collaborative and holistic approach to working with clients. I believe in considering all aspects of a person, including the emotional, physical/medical, cognitive, relationship, spiritual components. Problems and challenges are an opportunity to grow and evolve. Transformation can come from earning from our struggles and tragedies. I treat people with various problems, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief issues, eating problems, and relationship problems to name a few. Each client will complete an assessment and will address together the goals that they wish to work on during therapy. My speciality is eating disorders. I worked for over 12 years at an eating disorder treatment center before entering full-time into my private practice. I have worked with various eating disorders/body image struggles such as emotional eating, binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, struggles with weight, over-exercising problems. I offer both Skype and phone sessions when deemed appropriate. I have worked with various eating disorder professionals over the years. Thus, I am able to easily connect a client with a treatment team. Team meetings are arranged with the treatment team to best support clients during the therapeutic process.
