At his most recent placement he diagnosed and treated patients with various disorders and worked with clients desiring help with relationship issues, difficult circumstances, and life stage adjustments. He currently owns and is the primary therapist at Lakeshore Guidance, LLC. John also holds a Master of Education degree from Grand Valley State University and has worked in elementary schools on anti-bullying programs and crisis response intervention. John is currently accepting clients and patients. His interpersonal approach to counseling and his belief that the counseling relationship is the single most important factor in effective counseling allows clients to find him approachable, open, and helpful. Clients find that John goes above and beyond the typical therapeutic relationship. Potential clients are encouraged to schedule a 30-minute free consultation in person or by phone. After this optional meeting, standard intake and session rates will apply. Charges based on household income with intakes and sessions starting at $80 and up. Office is located in Hudsonville.
