My goal as a therapist is to work WITH you (not OVER you) to help you achieve a happier, more complete life. I treat my work as sacred. We are all so much more than our roles, gender, illness, body size, sexual orientation, looks, paycheck, trauma, abuse, life history or diagnosis.I know from personal experience that life can be brutal. We can not change WHAT happens to us. We can change WHAT we do about it.. I have complete faith in the change process. Why not call and see? Free first time Introductory 30 minute session. After 8 years of full-time clinical experience with diverse families, individuals, couples and groups I have a wealth of interventions and skills to draw one. All issues are important.Women issues or those marginalized or stigmatized by trauma, grief, abuse, or those who have low self-esteem are specialties. Therapy is part science and part art. I use metaphors, experiential hands on learning, art, journaling, eft techniques, mindfulness, dbt, cbt, insight, family systems, growth model etc. I am very authentic and can listen and work without judgement.
