I am focused and present with you every session and will teach you how to do this for yourself as well. I am trained in several approaches, but they all boil down to you learning how to listen to your own truths, develop kindness for yourself and others, and tap into the new personal resources you will discover. I believe that when we're willing to look at and make room for everything within us-- the good and bad-- clarity arises, and letting go is possible. You are in charge of the pace. Mindfulness of the body, nature's rhythms, and awareness of social oppressions inform my work. Also, If you are committed to any awareness practice-- like journaling, meditating, a dream log, or basic mindful stretching-- you will get even more out of your therapy. I'm happy to get you started! I enjoy working with teens, adults, and elders, and with individuals or couples. Office has parking, is wheelchair accessible, and on busline.
