I am a brief therapy and trauma therapy specialist in treating anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, anger issues, PTSD, many types of trauma, perfectionism, depression, adoption related issues using EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and wellness coaching concepts. My clients want to change their relationships, behaviors or moods, but haven't found the key to making those changes happen. Some clients prefer more directive, short term therapy with homework and reading. Other clients feel better, faster, with addressing habits or beliefs that have been passed down through family generations. Often it is a mix. I encourage, support, and challenge gently. I am a very experienced, certified EMDR therapist, and I am fully trained in EFT for couples and in wellness coaching. The combination of EMDR, EFT for couples, and coaching has proven to be an extremely effective, and relatively brief therapy for many different forms of distress. Each person who comes into my office needs a unique response from me. Primarily I work to help clients understand and change the barriers and habits that are getting in their way of creating the life they want. I thoroughly enjoy my work and my clients.
