I work with individuals, couples and families - including children and adolescents - using a strength-based and solution-focused approach. You may be experiencing problems in a relationship, concerns about a child, anxiety, depression, loss or life transition, struggles with addiction or a history of trauma. Or you may be feeling a vague dissatisfaction with your life. Together, we will clarify personal goals and create a plan for change that develops resilience, restores a sense of balance and brings joy into your life. My clients describe me as warm, down-to-earth, very caring and non-judgemental. I'd add that my style is relational and pragmatic. Using a whole person perspective, I help my clients to develop a clearer understanding of themselves - physical, mental, emotional, relational and spiritual. We then create a plan for personal change that incorporates knowledge from family systems, positive psychology, and resilience. Finally, I encourage, support and "coach" my clients as they put their plan into action.
