Parenting is a challenge! Many children have behavioral issues, difficulty coping with grief and loss, or sometimes a serious mental illness that leaves parents feeling helpless and alone. It never hurts to ask for help. I work with children up to age 12, specializing in early childhood (0-6). I do my best to provide a safe and supportive environment for you and your family to work through challenges and gain skills to cope with the stresses of life. You are the expert on your child, so I want you to be involved in treatment. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. I help families navigate through all kinds of crises, losses, and trauma. I am comfortable with a number of therapeutic approaches and will customize our sessions to best meet the needs of your family. I view therapy as a collaborative effort between the child, caregivers and myself because I believe working within the family system leads to the best possible outcomes.
