As your counselor, my goal is to assist you in expressing your ideas and concerns, identifying problem areas in your life, and learning new ways to cope with life events and stressors. I have over 20 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, groups and families. My areas of expertise incude mental heath, marital, children, family, crisis and career counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington and am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I accept most insurances as well as Employee Assistance Programs. I counsel individuals and families with a variety of issues. I have extensive experience in counseling children and parents, particularly with marital and divorce issues. In addition, I have experience in providing alcohol/drug assessments, mandatory referrals, crisis services and Critical Incident Stress Debriefings. I will be offering a variety of groups that can be very helpful in providing support to individals. Possible groups could include such topics as: anger management, self-esteem, boundaries, stress management and other topics. These groups will be pre-screened, so contact me for further information.
