I have a general practice of individual and couples psychotherapy, with two sub-specialties: adult attachment disorder and trauma recovery. The therapy process can empower people to make in-depth discoveries and new choices. I have many years of experience working with people trying to recover from trauma. Trauma can be from the past or present, can be directly experienced or even witnessed. When possible, I accompany the client to a "return to the scene." This can promote some of the deepest kind of healing. I also treat people who emotionally, verbally or physically batter. The therapy gives people the skills to stop the behavior, raise self-esteem.
