In my work, I bring together my special interests and experience in personality, interpersonal dynamics, and human development. I believe that each person and family brings their own unique history, personality and issues to the work. I see myself as the agent of my client; the client sets the goals and chooses the issues, and I provide skills and experience used to assist the client in reaching those goals. Goals can be short-term and limited, or can be long-term and extensive. My personal goal is to help my clients live healthier, happier, more effective lives. I have been working with individuals (children, adolescents and adults), and families for over thirty years. Early on, I worked in childcare, teaching, supervising, designing and directing programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children, and their families. I have worked in community mental health as well as in private practice. I am a certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and co-developer of the Stances Model™ of personality development. I am a past President of the International Association for NLP and an Adjunct Professor at Arcadia University and Temple University.
