When you are struggling with an eating disorder, it is important to work with a professional who specializes in eating disorders and will implement effective treatment strategies. I work compassionately and collaboratively with clients and their support team to normalize eating, stop bingeing, purging, restricting, and compulsive eating, increase healthy coping skills, improve and stabilize mood, build self-confidence and self-compassion, improve body image and health status, and enhance personal relationships. I have over 14 years of direct clinical and research experience in eating disorders and related concerns, including the psychosocial aspects of bariatric surgery. I have extensive training and experience in the treatment of all eating disorders across the weight spectrum. I utilize evidence-based strategies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT aka Maudsley Method), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We offer group and individual therapy. I have been a clinical supervisor for 10 years, training doctoral level students and interns wanting to specialize in eating disorders and related concerns. Therefore, even though I do not accept insurance, I offer several price ranges for psychotherapy to fit your financial needs.
