Counseling is an investment that individuals make when they are committed to bringing about constructive change in their relationships, their work and most importantly within themselves. My counseling approach focuses on self awareness in terms of strengths, stressors and resources. By focusing on helping individuals become aware of their strengths and vulnerabilities and developing and implementing new coping mechanisms; positive and sustainable results are possible. I offer psychotherapy services as well as career counseling services and am experienced in working with individuals who desire help with challenges such as depression, low self-esteem, Bi-polar disorder, ADD/ ADHD, obsessive-compulsive behavior, anxiety and stress management. Career counseling include career change/exploration, job searching and resume development. My background includes 20 years of experience in executive recruiting, operations management and human resources in several industries (retail, financial services, manufacturing and I.T.). After a major career change, I transitioned into the counseling field, but call on my prior experience in working with clients experiencing workplace stress.
