I have been working professionally since 1974 and in private practice in Vermont as a licensed practicing and school psychologist since 1986, providing assessment and counseling services to children and adolescents of all ages, adults, couples, and families with a wide range of individual and family-related concerns. I enjoy working with people and always try to understand developmental and current issues in order to best help clients meet their own unique and/or family needs and goals in a personalized, caring, and relaxed manner. My therapeutic approach is behavioral with cognitive behavioral and other approaches used as appropriate. In addition to counseling, I provide psychological testing and assessment services such as family forensic (custody), fitness for duty, guardianship, disability, psycho-educational evaluations, and risk assessments. I also provide clinical supervision for mental health professionals and organizational consultation services. I have trained counselors at the College of St. Joseph since 1987. I have volunteered on many community Boards, and as a coach and in scouting. I am trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, Disaster Mental Health, and serve as a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Advisor for the Vermont/ New Hampshire Upper Valley Region..
