For over 25 years I have helped clients on their journeys to reclaim themselves and their sense of joy in life, to heal past trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions and eating disorders. I view psychotherapy as an interactive journey where together we learn what may be getting in the way of your feeling happy, satisfied and engaged in your life. Together we will work creatively to explore new ways of being both within yourself and in the world at large. I have worked with young women with eating disorders since the beginning of my clinical work in both inpatient and out patient settings. The symptoms of an eating disorder express a deeper voice that requires that it be heard. Together we will find new ways of expression. I often use meditation, breath work and mindfulness to help clients decrease stress and become more fully aware of underlying emotions and feelings.
