Feeling emotionally safe, respected, and heard is the foundation of my therapeutic practice. My specific approach depends a great deal on you and what areas in your life you would like to address. I work with adults, couples, adolescents, and children 5 & up on a variety of issues including: life transitions, depression, anxiety, parenting, and grief. I also have a wonderful therapy dog named Rosie! Although she often spends her days with me and my clients she also has days off making the office a "dog free" zone. I have advanced training and substantial experience in two specialty areas: trauma therapy and individual special needs therapy. I have been certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional by the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I work with children, adolescents, and adults that have experienced physical, emotional, or sexual abuse or trauma of any kind. Special Needs Therapy for children, adolescents and adults with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and parents/caregivers trying to support them and siblings that may be impacted.
