I believe all human behavior is oriented toward growth, no matter how misguided or "crazy" it may seem. Perhaps you feel out of balance with your emotions, relationships, work, or spirit. You may be experiencing a crisis, a life transition, or simply desire to know yourself better. I focus on individual psychotherapy with adults. I'm trained to work with anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as the deeper unconscious influences to emotions, thoughts, and behavior. Our work is guided by your specific concerns and what you wish to change. My aim is to provide a safe and respectful space for self-exploration. I work intuitively and blend creative approaches (art, dreamwork, sand tray) with "talk therapy". I seek to understand how you uniquely experience your world. Non-judgmental listening enables you to feel "heard" and "seen", perhaps for the first time, so you can become unblocked and begin to feel more grounded. I have master's degrees in clinical psychology and art therapy, and a post-graduate certificate in Analytical Psychotherapy, enabling me to work with unconscious material. Before becoming an art therapist, I was a professional artist. My grounding in art and the unconscious makes me uniquely suited for depth work.
