I believe that every person has the capacity to heal and live fully no matter what challenges they are facing. Therapy is one way to move beyond life's obstacles and claim the life you want. It takes a great deal of strength to take that first step of contacting a therapist and I admire the courage you have already demonstrated by visiting this page. I offer a safe space for self-exploration where you can develop constructive coping, healthier relationships, deeper self-awareness, personal growth, and increased self-esteem. I have experience in working with individuals and groups in a variety of settings; most recently, I served as the Clinical Director of the DC Rape Crisis Center. My clients bring a wide array of issues to therapy including trauma, addiction, sexual difficulties, relationship challenges, self-injury, and dissociation. I pay particular attention to how your various identities intersect and affect your daily life in relation to race, class, sex, gender identity, sexuality, ability, size, age, and national origin.
