Are you having trouble coping with your emotions due to a traumatic experience in your life? Many suffer from childhood sexual abuse, relational trauma due to a betrayal, or the emotional aftermath of a pregnancy termination. You are not alone! I collaborate with people seeking to transform past suffering into meaning and purpose in their lives. I believe passionately that to live a fulfilled life, one must continue to grow and adapt to new circumstances in life. I feel a profound sense of gratitude to be able to help others on their path to emotional freedom. I combine psychodynamic styles, journeying alongside you, always confidentially. I earned my bachelor's degree from Southern Connecticut State University, and received my Master's Degree from Michigan State University. I was part of the first group to receive a certificate in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) from MSU. I also have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and The Gottman Method. I have experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and incorporate mindfulness techniques to fully access the moment. My special areas of interest include grief, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, sex addiction and partners of sex addicts, post-abortion stress, and mid-life transitions. I work with tweens, teens, adults, and couples.
