Many believe that events, conditions, people and situations cause distress. However, as simple as it may sound, it is our own thoughts, beliefs and perceived meanings of these things that cause distress. I teach individuals how to recognize unhelpful thoughts, behaviors and triggers that maintain undesirable feelings. With added emphasis on problem-solving, acceptance and mindfulness, I assist you in gaining the tools you need to become your own therapist. You've taken at least 2 steps - 1) making the decision to obtain professional support and 2) researching professionals. Why not take the next step and make the call? New Living Center (NLC) is a managed care free practice. We don't share your information with insurance companies and you are able to develop your treatment plans according to your unique needs and resources, including face to face, group, video conferencing, telephonic and/or therapeutic workshops.
