I believe in the unique potential within each and every one of us, and it is this belief that drives me to help those in need. My passion and compassion, along with almost 14 years of experience, help me provide clients with tools, guidance, and support needed to journey towards healing, self-exploration, and resolution. I am known to work on many of the more difficult cases in the Grand Rapids area, and recognized by the school, legal and healthcare communities as being a leading provider of group and counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am an expert in the areas of borderline personality, trauma, and self-injury work. I have completed extensive trainings in specialty areas including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy training through Behavioral Tech. Beyond doctorate education, I completed Level 3 Gottman marriage/relationship training.
