Ms. Erin Pridgen

My area of passion is play therapy with children. I am a Registered Play Therapist and work primarily with children between the ages of 3-11. I work with a wide range of childhood-related issues including anxiety, anger, ADHD, behavioral issues, divorce, self-esteem, social skills, and developmental delays. In addition to individual counseling, I also provide two children's groups - Social Skills 4 Kids and Caring 4 Kids thru Divorce. I also offer Filial Therapy for parents which focuses on enhancing the parent-child relationship. Through enhancing that relationship, parents gain a greater sense of control and confidence while the child learns such things as self control, decision making, and responsibility taking. I strive to provide a warm, caring and consistent environment within the playroom for my child-clients in order to help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I encourage parents to be highly involved throughout the process so that the entire family unit can benefit."
