I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups on various therapeutic issues. My clinical specialties include relationship issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, domestic violence, effective parenting, grief and loss, chronic illness and cancer. I provide a personalized approach to therapy, working with my clients' strengths, and helping them improve upon the areas of their life that challenge them the most. My therapeutic approach is to provide encouragement, support, compassion and understanding along with Cognitive Behavioral techniques, Solution Focused strategies and Mindfulness techniques. I have also presented a number of in-service trainings in the community and workshops to children and adolescents in the school setting. Specifically, I have conducted presentations on Bullying, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Grief and Loss, Talking to Children about Cancer and Effective Parenting Skills.
