Frances Wagner

I have experience working with women from the ages of 16 to 70. I also work with couples. My work experience includes: a private practice, two women's healing centers, and a women's transition program at a community college. I have worked with the following issues; depression, anxiety, abuse, grief, anger, self-esteem, boundaries, forgiveness, attachment styles, self-care, spirituality, and resiliency. I believe in building a trusting relationship that will help you take control of your life and make the changes you hope for. I will encourage, mentor, and stand by you as you move towards your goals. I believe the road to healing comes from understanding how our past impacts our present. I specialize in helping people explore their past in relationship to their current behavior, beliefs, and relationship patterns. I believe that healing can be achieved through changing unhealthy thinking, especially unhealthy messages we tell ourselves. I have training and experience in the effects of verbal, emotional, physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse. I understand the impact these experiences have on a person and the resulting issues. I also have training in Resiliency Theory and know what makes a person resilient.
