I have a strong belief that it is our challenges in life that can provide us with the opportunity for self-awareness and skills to mold our personalities into who we can be at our best. I am a strength based therapist and enjoy working with teens, families, adults and couples. My approach in working with clients is to help them formulate a vision of what they want to accomplish in therapy and where they want the work in therapy to take them in their lives. I use a variety of therapy approaches including mindfulness, cognitive techniques, and attachment work. I have been trained in Internal Family Systems which is a type of therapy that helps people to understand the different parts of their personalities, why each part came into being and what purpose it has served for them. A licensed clinical social worker in Florida & New Hampshire, I also worked in private practice in New Hampshire & Vermont. I am very relational in my approach and many years of working with people in therapy has shown me the powers of resilience of the human spirit time and time again.
