I work with individuals and groups to help resolve symptoms and behaviors which interfere with leading a meaningful and productive life. The psychodynamic process produces the individual work necessary to resolve hampering patterns of behavior in order to promote optimal personal and professional growth and development. Becoming aware of the unconscious forces that determine thoughts, feelings and behavior has been shown to be one of, if not the most beneficial process for helping individuals or groups resolve psycho-social and emotional conflicts. Older Adult Psychotherapy can be identical to other age groups. The combination of losses, declining health, and fewer meaningful activities in life can have deleterious effects on the emotional and psycho-social lives of older adults and families.
