I am a seasoned professional, licensed, in practice in Florida since 1985,also Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. My professional training and work experiences are broad; this has included posts in mental health centers, consultant to multiple rehabilitation facilities, as Clinic Director of a multidisciplinary pain clinic, and independent practitioner with outpatient practices. My focus within psychotherapy is targeted, but the breadth of my experiences allow me to work with persons having a range of issues including coping more effectively with pain-disease, anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma. The emphasis in my therapy approaches is to assist people developing better self regulatory strategies to control, manage, or eliminate symptoms while tangibly improving your daily functioning. I work with adults (late adolescence to seniors) to enhance capabilities managing symptoms from pain-disease syndromes, to win the battle against depression, anxiety, shyness, and low esteem.
