I have 30+ years of experience working with adults and teens who have issues with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger, perfectionism, control, guilt, fear, relationships, trauma, dual diagnosis and addictions. We will work as a team, first to identify where you want to be in your life, then to look at what is keeping you from being there, and then to decide the best ways for you to meet your goals. Choices and changes are yours to make. I can help. I also do mental health evaluations and LPC supervision. Many of us have learned to avoid our uncomfortable feelings and thoughts. This usually doesn't work in the long run. I can help you use your courage and abilities to live fully, instead of struggling with worries and dread. As a recovering anxious perfectionist, I understand the desire to want to control things to avoid uncomfortable feelings. Having worked with people who used substances, eating, anger, work, relationships, control, perfectionism etc. to avoid these uncomfortable feelings and thoughts, I know how hard it is to let these behaviors go.
