Hiram has over 21 years of clinical and/or Christian counseling experience in helping people in need throughout the Mobile/Eastern Shore area. It's important to promote one's recovery in a safe, secure, and encouraging atmosphere of support. Deciding to enter the delicate and sensitive process of counseling takes a great deal of courage. Hiram passionately desires to help people overcome their various issues i.e. mending relationships and/or ending harmful behaviors. Counseling is a series of bold steps in overcoming or managing life's numerous painful challenges. Hiram specializes in individuals, personal relationships, communication skills, depression and anxiety, trauma and grief, divorce, substance abuse, infidelity and the mending of trust, pornography, self-esteem, co-dependency and assertiveness, personal boundaries, sexual issues, parenting skills in today's turbulent adolescence, blended families, ADD for all ages, and anger management issues. Often, we tell people everything is OK when deep down, we know that is not the case. But when we bury or stuff our feelings, our mental and emotional health will surely take its toll. The key is bringing those painful feelings into our awareness in order to promote our overall well being.
