I am in the private practice of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with adult and adolescent patients who, despite their innate capacities, are experiencing difficulties in relationships, academics or career. Our work focuses on identifying and dealing with those issues which are outside of awareness, but are interfering with the freedom to to succeed in the various area or their lives. I specialize in issues related to interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression and academic and creative blocks, . I also deal with dissociative disorders, the inability to think clearly despite native intelligence, and difficulties in decision making. I believe that all therapies succeed best when they focus on the causes which underlie problems rather than on the problems themselves or on their symptoms. Therefore, I do not "specialize" in any particular disorder, but focus instead on the total human being in order to understand and address the source problem.
