A Directory of Mental Health Counselors and Therapists in the United States Over twelve thousand professionals with advanced degrees, licensed and professionally qualified.
I have worked as a psychologist for 25 years, and have successfully used a cognitive behavioral treatment approach with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, PTSD, eating disorders, relationship problems, and chronic pain, among other presenting problems. I strongly believe in a person's capacity to make meaningful changes in their lives, and I am happy to facilitate this process with my clients. If you are looking for someone with professional training and a wealth of experience to draw from, please contact me to schedule an initial session. There's no time like the present to work toward peace and happiness in your life. My therapy sessions tend to be collaborative in nature, and include a great deal of work understanding healthy and unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior. We then translate these insights into meaningful behavioral change goals which clients pursue as self-help work between sessions. Even small changes can be quite meaningful. One powerful gift we can give ourselves is the insight and skill to choose healthy ways of thinking and behaving that will allow us to actualize desired changes (like healthier relationships, happiness, or weight loss), and to adapt to changes that are thrust upon us (like unemployment, empty-nesting, or disability).
