Dr. Zigler specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for school aged children and young adults with dyslexia, learning differences, attention deficits, autism, traumatic brain injury, and other neuro-developmental disorders. A neuropsychological evaluation assists in better understanding your child's functioning in areas such as achievement, memory, attention, perception, language, and personality. This information will help you and your child's teacher, therapists, and physician provide treatments and interventions for your child that will meet his or her unique needs. Pediatric neuropsychology is a specialty concerned with learning and behavior in relationship to a child's brain. A pediatric neuropsychologist has expertise in how learning and behavior are associated with the development of brain structures. Testing of abilities such as IQ, achievement, memory and executive function skills asses brain functioning. Dr. Zigler has been practicing in the Phoenix area since 1998. She specializes in the evaluation of children ages five and older as well as young adults.
