My background, as a former guidance counselor and educator, has afforded me the opportunity to successfully work with families from diverse, cultural populations in a variety of situations. As a board member of NAtional Alliance on Mental Illness, I conduct trainings for the community on mental illness. I specialize in working with individuals, parents, children and seniors. I incorporate an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing such techniques as art, play, therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and meditation.
