Are you struggling with how to be fulfilled in a difficult world? I work with adults who want to live their lives with courage and honesty. It's a privilege being helpful to people wanting better human relationships - at home and in the workplace - and who may be experiencing discouragement, hurt, fear, self-doubt, loneliness, and grief. Many already are "veterans of therapy," and the mental health system - while others are approaching professional help for the very first time. I engage, listen, and use my experience to truly help people improve self-awareness and navigate to their best path. My favorite "specialty" among many: Helping parents succeed at that demanding and complicated role. More than ever, parenting and "doing family" intersect with divorce, work issues, the school system, special education, grand parenting, as well as personal struggles with depression, anxiety, and emotional pain. Insight is good, even great, but action toward change is the true vein of gold. Genuine change involves managing emotions while also adapting to the real world in ways that reflect learning and personal growth.
