I work with a wide range of issues and value the unique abilities of each individual. I believe everyone has the capacity to change regardless of their past experiences. I draw on the strengths of each person to facilitate positive change. I incorporate a variety of techniques, such as arts and drama to help clients express themselves and use their strengths to heal. I have advanced training and expertise with chemical dependency and offer after-care groups for individuals who are working through issues in order to maintain their sobriety and help them become the person they want to be. I have extensive training in the creative arts and utilize drama therapy with clients who would benefit from this unique type of therapy. I use the arts to create a safe place for individuals dealing with grief and trauma. Drama therapy and the creative arts inform my work with individual clients. I am aware of how our families and the cultures we reside in reflect our unique humanity. I honor those systems and utilize this information to find the best path to assist in an individual's healing.
