My approach is individualized and incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Psychodynamic, and hypnotherapy. I believe in harnessing my client's strengths to develop a greater capacity for growth and the people I have worked with have reported feeling healthier and happier as a result of using these tools. Trained in New York and licensed since 1998, I have extensive experience assisting children, teens and adults cope with painful emotions and transform stressful experiences into opportunities for learning and growth. I also specialize in teaching meditation and relaxation techniques which research has shown to improve focus, health and a sense of well being. My offices are located in Coral Gables and South Miami.
