I believe that as we grow and evolve our connections with ourselves, others and the world around us become deeper and more fulfilling. However, when we are under stress, are in a relationship crisis, or feel anxious and depressed, our connections with our loved ones and ourselves is limited. We may find ourselves unable to communicate, or feel angry, unenergized and overwhelmed. I believe in order to relieve life's pressures, it is important to reconnect with yourself once again. The right therapeutic setting can provide an environment of trust and warmth, and promote healing through understanding, reconnection and growth. I am a solution-focused therapist and emphasize the "here and now." I will focus on past events in therapy as it pertains to and impacts present situations. I will listen actively and give feedback accordingly. I provide a comfortable, culturally-sensitive therapy environment and can guide you through the journey of change. I bring over 20 years of clinical experience to my counseling practice and have been in Ahwatukee in a private practice setting since 1999 working with adults and adolescents.
