If you feel unfulfilled, depressed, traumatized, bereaved, conflicted, out of control, anxious, overwhelmed, or victimized by your life circumstances, I am non-judgmental, open-minded, present, empathetic. I work carefully to help you make the changes you want to make. I also help you understand that our experiences shape not only how we think, feel, and act, but the stories we believe about who we are. I want to empower you to become the hero of your life story. I use traditional and creative therapy techniques to help you move beyond freedom from pain and grief into healing, personal growth and self-actualization. It starts with a conversation, so call. We can discuss what you're looking for, and how I can help. I specialize in loss, grief, bereavement, but also work with depression, self-esteem/confidence, finding your strengths and passions, relationship conflict, divorce, anxiety, anger, trauma, and creativity blocks. My fee is flexible. As a novelist and psychotherapist, I am uniquely qualified to help clients explore the healing power of expressive arts, particularly writing. My skills with grief emerged from my own loss experiences, in addition to study and practice. I've created "writing for healing" workshops over many years. For more: www.frandorf.com
