Becoming a therapist has been a life long dream of mine and I know it is what I was put on this earth to do. I love to work with all age's seeking help with issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting questions, mood swings, trauma, family issues or what ever else you would like to discuss. Being a cancer survivor I can offer support to you whether you are just diagnosed, actively in treatment, or dealing with life after treatment. Even if you just feel "stuck" in life and need to talk, I can help if you let me. I can offer Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Strength Therapy, Relational Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I have extensive training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with children and adolescents. I also have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with young adults and adults. Along with individual and family therapy I run Groups which are very important part of treatment. It's helpful for others to know they are not the only ones having difficulties. Group therapy offers social support and validation not just from the therapist but from other members of the group.
