I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of specialized education, training, and experience in the provision of psychological services to individuals, couples, groups, and organizations.My breadth of training and experience allows me to offer a broad spectrum of psychological services ranging from mental and behavioral health to organizational consultation. I specialize in evaluation and therapy that create a safe, supportive relationship in which individuals struggling with most any of life's certain difficulties are welcomed to embark upon their own unique adventures toward greater freedom and fulfillment. My approach to psychological treatment is one in which each individual is viewed as more than a cluster of specific symptoms, but as a complex whole of unique experiences within innumerable social and environmental contexts. I utilize insight-oriented strategies supplemented by practical, action-oriented, and evidence-based treatment protocols. Connection and understanding are key ingredients in successful therapy. True empathic understanding and genuineness come from life experience uncommon in professionals. This makes me different. My life experience, combined with the depth of my training, lets me focus on both immediate symptoms and the origins of problems in living.
