I am a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist, and have a PhD in clinical social work, with a practice in Norwalk, CT. I have over 25 years of clinical experience in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and parenting concerns. I also work with grandparents. I see adolescents, adults and couples including non-traditional families, and LGBTQ. Nothing is more important and comforting than feeling understood. No concern is too big or too small to explore. I welcome all feelings. Whether you feel overwhelmed or have feelings, thoughts and behavior patterns that concern you, we will work together to achieve your goals. I hold women support groups for women in their last trimester, and resume group with babies in tow; parent groups with focus on interaction between parent/child; groups for teenagers; women going through divorce; emptynesters, and grandparents. Groups are designed to help you feel comfortable in your respective role(s). All of us have feelings which are difficult to manage or understand. I welcome ALL feelings (positive, negative, happiness, depression) and help you to make sense of your life. If you're reading this you've already begun the process.
