You may be struggling with a specific issue or relationship, feeling depressed, anxious, or angry, or just not feeling like yourself. You may feel like you don't know how to begin to make this better. I am an experienced clinical social worker, and I strive to create a warm, supportive atmosphere in which you can start the healing process. I will help you look at your problems and challenges, create realistic goals, and work with you to gain insight and skills which will help you move forward in the direction you want to go. I work with adults and couples with a variety of concerns, and I base my approach on the individual needs of each client. I have particular experience in working with the following issues: depression, anxiety, bereavement, health-related concerns, life transitions, pregnancy and post-partum depression, adjustment to parenthood, and a mindfulness approach to overeating.
