There is something wonderful about growing older, especially in this profession. I have had a chance to experience many of the concerns faced by women in today's culture and to watch many therapy theories come and go. My experience has led me to recognize that therapy, healing and recovery are intensely spiritual experiences as well as individual experiences. Most importantly, each of us has our answers within. We can reconnect with those answers when we remember who we really are. Over the last thirty years I have worked with parents, taught breastfeeding and organized a resource center. Then I graduated to adolescents and adults with addiction and legal concerns. Families are made up of individuals and each person is an important part of the health of that family. My practice focus has changed as I move through my own life. Currently, the brain, trauma and adult ADHD are areas of learning and interest. Experience is important so..."I wouldn't ask you to try something if I had not tried it myself"!
