I am a psychiatrist with >25 years' experience conducting research in the psychopharmacology of bipolar disorder and other forms of depression. Currently I am a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Previously I directed the Bipolar Disorders Research Program at the Payne Whitney Clinic/Weill-Cornell Medical Center. I have published over 170 research papers and 3 textbooks on the psychopharmacology of depression and bipolar disorder.
