I believe that forming a positive therapeutic relationship with a trusted professional can provide you with helpful support, guidance, and tools to successfully navigate life transitions. I am a licensed psychologist with experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with a variety of concerns. My goal is to accept you where you are and create an open, collaborative relationship in which you feel respected, secure, and able to consider new perspectives. My conversation style is warm and gentle, while also honest and direct. I use a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including hypnotherapy, to help people gain insight, explore and express their feelings, heal from traumatic experiences, and regain emotional balance. Therapy may also help you to pursue meaningful life goals, improve communication and coping skills, build self-esteem, and increase relationship satisfaction. My special interests include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, unresolved emotional pain, and relationship problems. I am very comfortable working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. Consulting services and presentations or group workshops on a variety of topics are also available upon request.
