My background, experience and approach, make me uniquely qualified for helping individuals and families make the changes that they desire. Since I have worked with people in different settings, both school and community, I respect how the environment and life circumstances shape thoughts, feelings and behavior. I primarily work with adolescents, adults and families needing to address anxiety, depression and/or substance abuse. I have also worked with very successful individuals who benefitted from a "coaching" relationship to reach their peak performance or make a desired career transition. I can help an individual or family address major substance abuse issues using a variety of "Intervention" methods that includes education of treatment options. For employees and the work setting, I can deliver Critical Incident Stress Debriefings, grief counseling and alcohol and drug evaluations to minimize or prevent disruptions or problems at work.
