Working along side individuals as they discover the desire for change and the potential for growth, is an inspirational process. Often times change is met with resistance, and as a therapist, I provide a supportive role in assisting others to recognize and overcome blockages, fear and distraction. Supporting healing in adolescents and adults whom wish to become their best selves, is fostered by a relationship built upon trust, compassion and open communication. I work with people whom have endured trauma, those in times of transition, grief and exploration with a variety of holistic modalities, drawing from mindfulness, expressive arts, DBT, and EMDR. I work to assist others to understand and connect to life in the present, often times though courageous processing and acceptance of past experiences. Achieving health includes wellness and attention to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. Health is about choices, decisions and relationships. I work to create a space of trust and safety, encouraging a relationship where the potentials for change are tangible. Sometimes the journey is difficult, growing requires strength, practice and connecting to resources. I look forward to being an ally to you in your process of movement and exploration.
