Dr. Martin Margulis

I have been in private practice as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist since 1972 and have 35+ years of experience working with individuals and couples, provided in an engaged and active therapy/counseling atmosphere of understanding and acceptance. For many patients, issues revolve around problems with either or a combination of, depression, anxiety, anger, relationships, addictions, and sexual dysfunction. I also have led numerous dream and self-discovery workshops, and have lectured on the creative process across the United States, as well as in Canada and Brazil. The key to growth and healing involves an inner awareness of those aspects of self that have been blocked and become inaccessible despite continual attempts to come to grips with personal issues. My goal is to help and guide you to learn tools that lead to positive change. My experience has taught me that positive outcomes are most likely to occur in a non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere of understanding and acceptance. Many patients have told me they appreciate the directness of my approach, and my willingness to be engaged with them as they struggle to heal and grow.
