Are you feeling lonely or depressed and not sure why? Is your life outwardly going well, but inwardly you feel empty and unsatisfied? Have you experienced a recent loss such as divorce or the death of a loved one? Or have you experienced recent or past trauma in your life that continues to interfere with your functioning and happiness? If this is the case, my 30 years of experience and specialized training in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and divorce related issues has enabled me to effectively work with many clients who struggle with these same issues. My forensic work in the area of divorce and child custody enables me to provide unique support to my clients as they move through the legal and emotional issues of divorce. With the right kind of help, divorce can become a catalyst for change, personal growth, and ultimately a happier relationship in the future. Throughout my career I have also treated many adult and child victims of sexual and physical abuse. Early years of emotional neglect can also cause trauma in adult life and relationships. I believe effective therapy focuses on integrating the painful past as well as continuing the emotional growth that was interrupted by the trauma.
