There are different types and levels of trauma; but within its essence, trauma is the unexpected "chaos" (loss of control) to our everyday order (expected control). Trauma stems from painful and oftentimes forced by circumstances. Yet, it is also an opportunity as people tend to seek change when they are on the threshold of life and death changes. Whether it is the earthshattering changes caused by the death of loved ones; divorce, addiction or job loss, the common struggle is learning how to see life with different lenses while staying anchored to everyday duties. Unaddressed traumas turn into suffering from pain of the past; discomfort of the present and uncertainty of the future. I will work hard with you to understand the emotions, thoughts and fears than accompany the steps of transformation.
