Counseling is an intensely personal time of self-reflection and recognition. I work with adults to offer a new sense of who they are, and what they are able to do, while maintaining these changes over time, and through the bewilderment of the drama of life. The most powerful and mysterious part of life are the relationships we form with others and ourselves. I have a very simple way of of centering and going beyond what you have known. I can help by creating an atmosphere of acceptance and dialoque that reflects your dignity as a person being human. Alcohol problems,and drug problems often go together with other illnesses and over the years, advances in treating these dual disorders have offered many individuals a new chance at life. I know that if you want help you have already started the recovery process. What's next? I was a Boston Firefighter before I entered the Social Work profession. I have seen trauma and courage from both sides. My experiences have prepared me to hold the belief that adversity in life will introduces us to ourselves.
